Margarete Jackson

Margarete Jackson, 90, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015. Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday at St. Francis of Assisi of Possum Kingdom. Interment: McAdams Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 7 P.M. Thursday at White's Funeral Home with Rosary at 7 P.M. Margaret Nowak Jackson born March 27, 1924 in Dodson Prairie to John and Pauline Beyer Nowak. She married Willis (Boots) Lee Jackson October 1, 1941 in Graford. Margaret was a homemaker and well known for being a very talented seamstress. She is well known for sewing numerous wedding dresses and entering her cakes in Graford Fair and Livestock Show, often winning first place. Margaret was a life time member of St. Francis of Assisi on Possum Kingdom Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis "Boots" Jackson in 2001. Margaret is survived by sister, Kate Jenkins; children, Francis Baccus and husband, Kenneth, Curtis Jackson and wife, Marilyn and Judy Newman and husband, Truitt; grandchildren, Gary and Tracey Broom, Tracy and Jerry Cornwall, Sherry and Terry Meadors, Micheal Baccus, Dionna and Phil Garrett, Kelvin Jackson, Christy and Chris Hendershott, and Willie and Jana Newman; fifteen great-grandchilden; nine great-great-grandchildren.
