Wanda Lou Jacobs

WEATHERFORD -- Wanda L. Jacobs, 89, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at a local care center. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Victory Baptist Church, 1311 E. Bankhead Dr., Weatherford. Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances the family suggests donations may be made in Wanda's memory to Victory Baptist Academy, 1311 E. Bankhead Dr., Weatherford, Texas 76086. Wanda was born October 15, 1925, daughter of Albert Hamilton and Emma Rebecca McKeller Pope, in Caddo. She was a longtime member of Victory Baptist Church and worked at Wal-Mart where she retired. Wanda was preceded in death by her son, Warren Jacobs; two infant children; her parents; and her sister. Survivors: Children, Sherry Dickerson and husband, Erwin, Bill Farmer and wife, DeDe, and Will Jacobs; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Pope and wife, Marj; many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
