Bobby D. Jones

Bobby Jones, 89, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Decatur. Graveside Service: 11:00 am Thurs., April 30, 2015 at Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, Springtown. Bobby was born July 1, 1925 in Morris, OK to the late Robert C. Jones and Clara Wallace Jones. He loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Bobby was a veteran, serving in the United States Army and United States Air Force. He served our country in World War II and the Korean War. He was a WWII prisoner of war and a Purple Heart recipient. Bobby was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter, Tina Juarez; son, Kevin Jones; brother; and sister. Survivors: Wife, Thelma Jones; children, Chrystal Anderson, Barbara Moore, Jan, Leah Hamilton, Ronnie Jones, and Bobby Jones; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
