HUDSON OAKS -- Colene Byrom, 78, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015. Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015 in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: 10 a.m. Friday in the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at White's Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the family suggest donations in Colene's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3301 W. Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Colene was born January 31, 1937, daughter of Henry Frank and Jeina Earline Evans Bryant in Lubbock. She met and married the love of her life, Wesley Byrom, on April 22, 1961 and they raised three wonderful children together. Colene loved to talk, enjoyed playing slot machines and faithfully watched Dancing With The Stars. They owned Armstrong McCall Beauty Supply for 20 years. Colene was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clyde. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren with all her heart and they will deeply miss her. Survivors: Beloved husband of 54 years, Wesley Byrom; daughters, Gaylene Taylor and husband, Steve, Jeina Dunn and husband, Greg; son, Dean Harris and wife, Kay; grandchildren, Jaca Taylor, Heather Taylor and Fiance`, David Klein, Zac Taylor and wife, Kelsey, Jade Dunn, Momo Dunn; great-grandchildren, Gunner Cauthen, Brinley Cauthen, Gannon Sigala and Collins Taylor; and many other loving family members and friends.
