Wanda Corrine Ross

Wanda Corrine Ross, 92, loving mother, grandmother and friend passed away Friday, May 8, 2015. Service: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at The First Baptist Church of Azle. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Wanda was born in Fort Worth to Gilbert and Ida Hopson July 2, 1922. She had worked at Pacific Bell/Hillview Convalescent Hospital for several years. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Azle and volunteered at the Eagle Mountain Pregnancy Center serving on the steering committee for four years. Wanda was such a sweet lady and will be missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Ross in 1996; and son, Larry Lanier. Survivors: Sons, Bill and Jay Lanier; numerous grandchildren.
