Carl Warren Pennington

Carl Warren Pennington, went to be with the Lord on Memorial Day, May 25, 2015 in Ashdown, Arkansas. Graveside services: 10 am Thursday at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy. Carl was born March 31, 1921 in Fordyce, Arkansas to John and Della McAllister Pennington. He was a WWII Air Force Veteran, a true Southern gentleman who loved to help others and was a friend to all. He was retired from General Dynamics and was a Christian. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 67 years, Blanche; 4 brothers, Graydon, Odus, Nolan and Dale; and 3 sisters, Amy, Elva and Leola. Survivors: a host of relatives and friends including special niece Paula Mounts and husband Jim, special nephew Jim Crisco and wife Deanna, and special Arkansas friends Mike and Carolyn Jenkins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
