Sharon Massingill, 75, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2014 in Ft. Worth.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Sharon was born April 18, 1940 in Hamburg, IL to the late James and Valera Roach. She was an avid crafter that enjoyed, sewing, wood carving, doll collecting as well making her own dolls. Sharon was an animal lover and dedicated bible reader. She was the rock of her family, always taking time to be a comfort and supporter for family members and friends.
Survivors: Husband of 52 years, James Massingill; children, Darla Cravens and husband, Jim, Susan Johnson and husband, Michael, Kevin Massingill and wife, Robin; grandchildren, Michael Stewart, April Stewart, Daniel Cravens, Charity Hernandez, Megan Britton, Sostana Rister, Jeffrey Conner, and Logan Conner; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Lonnie Blackston and wife, Leah, and Rick Blackston and wife, Cathy; Sister, Shirley Althrop; many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
