Ruby Ethel Ramsey

Ruby Ethel Ramsey, 88, our sweet Mom and Grandma, went home to Jesus, Thursday, July 9, 2015, surrounded by family and great friends. Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Monday in Perrin Cemetery, Perrin. Ruby was born June 8, 1927 in Slide, daughter of James and Eleanor Strebeck Burch. She met the love of her life, Herbert Ramsey, and they married on June 11, 1950. They raised two wonderful children and lived happily together until Herbert passed away on October 31, 2012. Ruby was devoted to her family and they were the light of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 62 years, Herbert Ramsey; three brothers; and two sisters. Survivors: Daughter, Gena Ramsey; son, Ricky Don Ramsey; two grandsons; one great-granddaughter; two great-grandsons; and many other loving family members and friends.
