William Roger Harrison

Roger Harrison left this world and went peacefully to heaven Monday, July 13, 2015. The family plans to hold a Memorial Service at a later date. Roger was a beloved husband, father and friend. He leaves behind Cher Harrison, his loving wife of 11 years; his daughter, Susan Harrison and her fiancé, Eric Jones; his son, Jamie Harrison and his wife, Trish Harrison; his granddaughter, Arianna Lasater; and his grandson, Tylor James Oakes. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, James and Amy Harrison; and his first wife, Debra Harrison, mother of his children. He was born on April 18, 1945 in Virginia where he lived for many years. Roger was a decorated Vietnam veteran. He served as area chairman of Quail Unlimited in Virginia. After retirement from UPS he moved to Cody, WY with his wife, where he enjoyed experiencing the ranch lifestyle. Roger was a cowboy through and through, a bull rider in his younger years, and a horse trainer and just plain cowboy in his later years. He loved his family, his dogs and all his horses throughout his life. Roger fought a long hard battle with cancer. He was courageous and brave till the end. He will remain in our hearts forever.
