Raymond Higgins, 81, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in White's Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Higgins was not an ordinary man, he adopted every person, or animal that needed a loving hand. He knew no stranger; he embraced everyone into his home. He did not know the poor, because as long as he had a dollar, so did you.
The simple minded were the smartest of men and women because he knew we can learn something new from anyone, no matter how much we thought we already knew. To put it simply, Mr. Higgins spent his life doing the best that he could, loving his family completely, honoring the Lord, and making all those that knew him all the richer for it.
Mr. Higgins leaves behind him so many people, to name then all would be impossible.
Raymond Higgins was born in Ranger, Texas. He would grow up to serve his country, marry Josephine and have 3 children, Bill, and his wife Cindy, Twyla, and her husband Greg, and Debbie.
Mr. Higgins would also be blessed later in life by finding his best friend, camping buddy, and someone to keep him inline, Dianne. His extended family grew more and more every day.
His children, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, bother and sisters, friends and family would like to say to him, "Daddy that we love you and we will always remember your voice, smile, wisdom and the grace you brought to the family. We love you Daddy."
