WEATHERFORD -- F. LeRoy Tillery, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday August 22nd while in a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church, 200 Lakeshore Dr., Weatherford.
Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

LeRoy was born September 19, 1937 to Woodrow Wilson and Maudina Seago Tillery, in Minden, La. He married Bette Ann Lambert on February 12, 1960. LeRoy graduated from Texas Tech in 1960 with a BS in Education with a minor in Math. While at Texas Tech he was a member of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity where he served as President for two terms. After graduation the couple moved to Albuquerque where he taught at Valley High School. After teaching for a year, LeRoy left teaching to work as a Professional Scouter. He worked for the Llano Estacado Council in Amarillo as the Quannah Parker District Executive. From there Tillery moved into the Chamber of Commerce field. His first Chamber was in Olney where he served as Director. From there the family moved to Amarillo where he served as Assistant Manager for 12 years. In 1979, LeRoy took the Executive position at the Big Spring Chamber. Tillery made another move in 1989 to Weatherford where he served as the Executive Director of the Office of Weatherford/Parker County Economic Development. LeRoy enjoyed many awards during his career including Economic Director of the year, as well as Chamber Manager of the year. As a Scout, he was an Eagle Scout as well as a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow. Tillery served on many Boards and with many service organizations throughout his life. He was a Rotarian for over 50 years and was a Paul Harris Fellow. LeRoy was a member of the Lions Club, Kiwanis, the Gideon's, The Parker County Garden Club and Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church. He and Betty were Rosarians, and served as Co-Presidents for the Dallas Rose Society. There are roses all over the state that came from the Tillery rose garden. While a member of LDBC, he went on several mission trips to Del Rio, and sang in the Joyful Singers Choir. LeRoy also started a new Cub Scout Pack at LDBC, enjoyed working with Habitat for Humanity and also served as a mentor at Mary Martin Elementary School for a number of years. He will be missed by everyone that knew him, and we will all miss his endearing smile.
He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Wilson; his mother, Maudina; wife, Bette Ann; and a brother, Don Wilson Tillery.
Survivors include: Son, Stephen and wife, Paige, of Amarillo; daughter, LeAnn of Denver; grandchildren, Amber of Whitedeer, Paden and wife, Caylin, of Amarillo.
