FORT WORTH -- Betty Jean Lawrence, 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Aledo Church of Christ, 201 FM 1187 South, Aledo. Interment: Aledo Brown Cemetery, Aledo. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Betty Jean Detherage was born March 3, 1931, daughter of Loren and Edith Wiley Detherage, in Parker County. She was a member of Aledo Church of Christ. Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Martin; second husband, Eldon Whalin; her parents; and brothers, Leroy and Bill Detherage. Survivors: Husband, Robert Lawrence; daughter, Gwen White; son, Steve Martin and wife, LaDonna; stepdaughters, Sharon Voyles and husband, Leo, and Lisa Krebs; grandchildren, Crystal Barnhill and husband, Jeff, and Eric Martin and wife, Lacey; stepgrandchildren, Erica Krebs and Alissa Krebs; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Tessa, Shelby, Luna and Vega; stepgreat-grandchild, Kanon; brothers, Freddy Detherage, Carol Detherage; sister, Pat Fulfer; sisters-in-law, Ruth Detherage, Verda Detherage and Alleen Detherage; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
