Gwyn Marie Whited

Lipan -- Gwyn Marie (Williams) Whited, born June 28th, 1948, went to be with her Heavenly Father Saturday, November 14th, 2015, at her home in Lipan, Texas. Services will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, November 20th, at Patillo Baptist Church, 4791 FM 2803, Lipan. Gwyn was a very devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, teacher, and friend who never met a stranger. She received her Bachelor's degree from Tarleton State University and was part of the Weatherford ISD for 16 years before she retired. Gwyn was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sadie Williams; and her husband, Ron Whited. She leaves behind sons, Will Strahan of Mobile, AL, and Chris Whited of Ponder; daughters, LeAnn Stetson of Graham and Kelly Yarbray and her husband, Rob, of Bristow, OK; grandchildren, Terryn and Kenneth Nichols, Robert Yarbray, Brittaney Stetson, Jacob Whited, and Rachel and Colby Tildon, and their children, Connor and Wyatt; brothers, James, Samuel, and Richard Williams of Mobile, AL; sisters, Mary Kennedy and Margaret Kriner of Weatherford; and a host of friends and relatives.
