Roy Don Lynch, 81, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 with his loving family by his side.
Service: 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 11, 2015 at White's Azle Chapel.
Interment: Azleland Memorial Park.
Visitation: 12 to 2 P.M. Friday in White's Azle Chapel.
Roy Don was born April 11, 1934 in Ardmore, Okla. to Leroy and Ruth Giles Lynch. He honorably served his country in the United States Army Signal Corps.
Roy Don lived an interesting, colorful life, making friends in many countries around the world. He referred to himself as Superman. To us, he truly was our Superman, our hero. He was the wind beneath our wings.
In his later years, Roy Don came to know the Lord in a personal way. Several years ago, he and his friend, Tom Heartsill, made visits to friends and prayed for them, speaking in simple terms about the Lord.
Roy Don was preceded in death by his parents; stepdad, Carl Fade; and sister, Letha Bell.
Survivors: Spouse, Carolyn Giles; daughters, Connie Ball, Debbie Fitting, and Cress Ann Posten and husband, Larry;son, Robin Brown and wife, Farida granddaughters, Ami Bollinger, Emily Ball, Tracie Rickborn and husband, Kevin; grandsons, Matt Posten and wife, Jennifer, Wes Lynch and wife, Ashley, Josh Posten and wife, Joelle, and Andrew Coleman; great-grandchildren, Braden, Elaina, Leah,and Vincent; brother, Dennis Fade.
