Michael Kevin Marr

Michael Kevin Marr, 51, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Monday at the Azle VFW, 11875 FM 730 N, Azle, 76020. A luncheon will be held immediately following the memorial service. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please bring donations to the memorial service for the Patriot House Transitional Housing for Veterans of Fort Worth. Mike was born December 29, 1963 in Tecumseh, Michigan. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and retired after many years of service. After retiring, he still worked closely with the Navy as an aircraft mechanic. Mike loved all sports, but especially boating, golfing and NASCAR. He had a great sense of humor and touched many people's lives. His laugh and legacy will be greatly missed. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Marr. Survivors: father, Douglas Marr; siblings, Colette Saigh and husband, Joseph, Matthew Marr, Laura Zalewski and boyfriend, Michael Kevin Lynch; nieces and nephews, Nicole Pocialik and husband, Gordon, Lauren Saigh, Sara Beth, Georgia, and David Marr, and Tyler, Morgan, and Cole Zalewski; and many other family members and friends.
