Eureta Reta Nance

Eureta "Reta" Nance, 79, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Ash Creek Baptist Church, 300 S. Stewart, Azle, 76020. Interment: 2:15 P.M. Thursday Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 9 to 10 A.M. at the church. Reta was born August 5, 1936 to Erma and Jay Jackson in Hollis Oklahoma. She met and married Val March 9, 1957 and they raised two sons together. She received her B. A. degree majoring in Arts and Education. Eureta was certified to teach and taught in both private and public schools in Texas for 37 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Val Nance; and her parents. Survivors: Children, Jay Nance and wife, Mary, Jon Nance and wife, Kelli; grandchildren, Jamie Nance, Gavyn Nance and Ashley Oxborough and husband, Mike; great-grandchildren, Matyx Canales and Max Oxborough; siblings, Harold Jackson and wife, Joyce, Wanda Jo Womack and husband, Eddie; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
