Paulette Shook

Paulette Shook, 66, beloved sister and aunt, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 in Fort Worth. Service: 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at White's Funeral Home Chapel in Azle. Interment: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 - 8 pm. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38105. Paulette was born on June 21, 1949 to the late Paul Edward Shook and Bernadine Marie Barnes in Johnstown, PA. Paulette studied art and earned her associates degree from Weatherford College. She taught disabled children art at Fort Worth ISD and at her home for free. Paulette was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sharon Farquhar. Survivors: Sister, Barbara Reed and husband, Craig; brother, Jess Shook; nieces, Tessa Sonne and husband, Pete, Tara Hagan and husband, Tanner, and Amy Farquhar; and nephew, Dr. Larry Carter. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
