Harold Hayden Huddleston, age 69, passed away in Fort Worth, shortly after midnight on January 1, 2016.
Graveside service: 2 p.m., Monday, January 4, at Dicey Cemetery, Weatherford.
Visitation: 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford 76086.

Born March 12, 1946, in Fort Worth, to Dosha and Harold Hinkle Huddleston, he attended North Side High School where he graduated in 1964. He attended college in Arlington, Ranger, and eventually graduated from North Texas State University (UNT). On May 17, 1968, he married the love of his life, Martha Nell Wood.
He lived his entire life near the city he loved, Fort Worth, where he worked at Hobbs Trailers and then in Equipment Services for the City of Fort Worth until retiring in 2007.
Hayden was a member of River Oaks Christian Church where he was a former Chairman of the Board and an Elder. He was an avid baseball and football fan. He also was passionate about cars and loved a good cigar.
Hayden will be especially remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. His quick wit, mischievous behavior, and love of others will be dearly missed. Thanks to the staff at Palliative Care, Harris Hospital and Gentiva Hospice for their help and support. Hayden was preceded in death by his daughter Genia Huddleston McKenzie, his parents; sister, Laverne Huddleston Demby, and brothers, Bob and Glenn.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Martha; his son and daughter in law, Harold and Laura Huddleston; grandchildren, Nichollas and Matthew McKenzie and Maggie and Hayden Huddleston; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and caregiver and friend, Lisa Tucker.
