Roland Dee Eason

Roland Dee Eason, 66, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, January 3, 2016 after a long illness. Service: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at White's Azle Chapel. Internment: New Hope Cemetery. Visitation: 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Roland was born in Decatur November 10, 1949 to the late D. R and Marian Eason. Roland loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. He served honorably in the United States Navy as a radioman aboard ship in Vietnam. Roland was a wonderful father and husband. He retired in 2008 after 21 years with the Azle ISD. Roland was raising his granddaughter, Kaylee Vaden who kept him young. Survivors: Wife, Tammy Keach Eason; sons, Shane, Kevin and Joseph; daughters, Tricia Clayton Adams and husband, Tony and Cathy Clayton; and numerous grandchildren.
