William "Bill" Allen Jenkins, 53, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016.
Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells, 100 SW Fourth Ave., Mineral Wells. Interment: Woodland Park in Mineral Wells. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. Fourth Ave., Mineral Wells.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of choice.
Bill was born Jan. 3, 1963, in Weatherford to Leon and Loretta Jenkins. He grew up in the Mineral Wells area and graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1981. He attended Weatherford College for a few years and then went to work in the oil field. He later went to work for General Dynamics in the late 1980s and was a dedicated employee until he passed away.
Bill had three daughters who were his world. He coached youth girls' sports teams throughout his daughters' childhoods. He loved Texas country music events and going to Texas Rangers games with his wife, Michelle. His smile and kindness will be missed by all who knew him.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bobby Jenkins; and a sister, Loretta Gregory.
Survivors: Wife, Michelle Jenkins; daughters, Terryn Edwards, Jessica Jenkins and Cora Jenkins; stepson, C.J. Gonzales; stepdaughters, Cierra Gonzales and Civanna Gonzales; grandchildren, Abbey Edwards, Kayson Jenkins, Zaylee Jenkins, Anthony Gonzales, Jayden Gonzales, Jaxon Gonzales, Anthony Salawa Jr., Titan Gonzales and Caiden Robinson; sisters, Cissie Jenkins and Linda Pevelor and husband, Larry; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
