Margaret Jane Boyd Davis

WEATHERFORD -- Margaret Jane Boyd Davis passed peacefully to be with her Savior on Thursday, January 21, 2016. Services will be on Monday, January 25, 2016 in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford, at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in Memory Gardens of the Valley, Weatherford. Chaplain Rusty Hudson will conduct the service. Margaret Jane Boyd was born on December 7, 1923. Her parents were Judson Boyd and Buena Scales Boyd. Margaret was born and raised in Sweetwater. She married Gerald E. Davis on August 15, 1941 in Merkel. They were blessed with two sons, Gary Eugene Davis, born in 1942 and Kim Davis, born in 1956. Margaret was involved in her son's activities and various community activities. She liked to paint, travel, sew, play bridge and visit with friends. Margaret was involved with Manna Storehouse located in Weatherford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; her two sons, Gary and Kim; her parents; brother, Douglas Boyd; and nephew, Ronny Boyd. Left to cherish her memory are her nephew, James Robert Boyd (Rilla); niece, Debbie Boyd (Chad Ayers); several cousins; and many friends. White's Funeral Home Weatherford, 817-596-4811
