BROCK -- Irene Shirley Cardwell, 95, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Brock Baptist Church, 2111 FM 1189 Brock, 76087. Interment: Brock Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford, 76086. Irene was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Wayne Cardwell, and daughter, Mickey Patton. Survivors: Children, Gerald Wayne Cardwell and wife, Becky, and Brenda Hagan; grandchildren, Chris Cardwell, Gerald Cardwell, Jr., Alana Meghdadpour, Dina Gibson, Greg Cardwell, and Christi Mize; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Shirley; many nieces, nephews, other family and a loving church family.
