Melba Olene Crow

LINDSAY -- Melba Olene Crow, 81, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016. Graveside service: 1:00 p.m. Monday at Curtis Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation: 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086. Olene was born December 28, 1934 in Weatherford to Oley and Mable Jones. She graduated from Brock High School in 1953. She also graduated from Weatherford College and began a career as an LVN. She married the love of her life, Virgil Edward Crow. Because Virgil was in the U.S. Army, Olene and their sons were able to travel to many places over the years, including Germany and several other states. In her spare time, Olene enjoyed playing golf, the accordion and the piano. Her greatest passion was spending time with family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Ronald Crow; grandson, Ryan Crow; granddaughter, Devon Palmer; and brothers, Roy Jones and Joe Jones. Survivors: son, Ricky Crow and wife, Dee; granddaughter, Kim Crow; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. White's Funeral Home Weatherford, 817-596-4811
