HUDSON OAKS -- Peggy Ann James Williamson, 67, passed away at home on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016. Cancer took her life but God has her spirit, in Jesus name, Amen.
Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church, 200 South Lakeshore Dr., Weatherford, 76087.
Private Interment: DFW National Cemetery.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086.
Peggy was born to Hiram and Leflora Gist James in Mena, Arkansas on July 3, 1948. She attended schools in Hot Springs and Fort Smith, Arkansas, obtaining her R. N. from Mercy Hospital. Peggy joined the U. S. Air Force in 1974 and retired in 1995 as a Lt. Col. The Air Force gave her four years of college and assorted assignments ending at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, where she met and married her husband of 20 years, Adrian A. Williamson.
Peggy was a member of Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church and a member of the Gideons.
Survivors: husband, Adrian A. Williamson; brother, Ken James and wife, Pat, of White Settlement; sister, Brenda and husband, J. B. Williams, of Holly Pond, Alabama; three nephews; one niece; two step-sons; five grandchildren; and many other loving family members, friends and church family.
