Denice Renya Broom

Renya Broom, 55, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016. Service: 2:30 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, 76067. Interment: Soda Springs Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home. Renya was born March 3, 1960 in Mineral Wells to Jim and Thalta Broom. She graduated from Millsap High School in 1978. She worked several years as a secretary for Crawford Properties in Mineral Wells and was a longtime member of Soda Springs Baptist Church. Her mischievous personality was very infectious and brought many smiles to faces, including her family, friends, and caregivers. She had many passions in life, including our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the love of her life, T.C., and her cat, Princess. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents and her longtime companion, T.C. Casey. Survivors: brothers, Randy Broom and wife, Sandy, of Granbury and Craig Broom and wife, Gina, of Southmayd; nephews, Tyler Broom and wife, Laura, Colton Broom, and Tanner Broom; and many cousins, extended family and friends.
