Billy Ray Whitehead

Billy Whitehead, 86, passed away Tuesday, March 1, in a Decatur Hospital. No services are scheduled. Billy was born to Othe Whitehead and Irene Hall in Cleburne, on October 6, 1929. Billy was a man who loved life to the fullest. He had 40 plus years as a aircraft mechanic, retiring from Lockheed. He was a rancher who loved his longhorns, and had served his country in the Air Force. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; loving step-mom, Virgie Whitehead; brother, Ferris Whitehead; and granddaughter, Crystal Frazier. Survivors: Wife, Jeanetta Whitehead; daughter, Bonnie Laveault, and husband, Paul; sons, Vincent Whitehead, Kevin Whitehead, and Sean Whitehead and wife, Teresa, and Carl Russell and wife, Linda; step daughter, Loraine Russell; brothers, Larry Whitehead and wife, June, Gary Whitehead and wife, Kathy; sisters, Joyce Dean Thurlby, Odina Mitchell and husband, Cardell, Patricia Bolden and husband, David, and Gloria Goforth and husband, Don; sister in law, Susan Whitehead; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
