Ruby Lee Jacobs

Ruby Lee Jacobs, 93, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Friday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment in Center Point Cemetery. Visitation 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Ruby was born in Parker County on March 11, 1923 to William Everett Towles and Minnie Vernoica Haney. She lived in Weatherford all her life, and worked for Hamilton Avnet for 10 years in Hurst. She was a Pentecostal. Preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, H.A. Jacobs; daughter, Nett (Jeanette) Holt; grandson, Shane Holt; brother and sister-in-law, William D. and Era Towles; sister and brother-in-law, Sammie Ruth and Elvis Montgomery; and sister-in-law, Betty Vargas. Survivors: Children, Barbara Alston of Harlingen, Nita Shedd of Euless,, Charles Jacobs of Weatherford, Leon Jacobs and wife, Debbie of Aledo, Theresa Kasinger of Weatherford, Mark Jacobs and wife, Rebecca of Weatherford, and Patty Roberts and husband, Steve of Grapevine; grandchildren, D'nette Wakefield, Darla Martin, Karrie Reno, Angelia Alston, David Alston, Chris Shedd, Jason Shedd, Shawn Kasinger, Deon Kisiah, Lacey Jacobs, Jessica Jacobs,Dustin Jacobs, Mark David Jacobs, Jimmy Roberts, and Sarah Jacobs; 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-granchildren; numerous nieces, nephews,and cousins.
