Gordon Nelson

Gordon Nelson, 71, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Ft. Worth. Memorial Service: 1:00 pm Friday, April 8, 2016 at White's Funeral Chapel in Springtown. Visitation preceding the service 12:00 to 1:00. Gordon was born June 18, 1944 in Ft. Worth to the late Wilbur and Juanita Nelson. He was an avid hunter and fisherman especially enjoying the Gulf Coast. Gordon collected numerous items and loved working on antique cars. He treasured his family, always entertaining them with a joke. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alan Nelson. Survivors: Wife, Nina Nelson; Son, Jason Nelson (Raney), grandchildren, Angela Nelson Snead (Shane), Bailey Williams Hammons (Daniel), Katrina Nelson, and Wesley Williams; sisters, Ruth Nelson and Mary Nelson Goldsmith (Lloyd); several nieces, nephews, and loving family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Veterans’ Support Organization of your choice.
