Thomas Edd Lemons

Thomas "Tom" Lemons, 74, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 with his loving family at his side. Service: 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at White's Azle Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, April 13th at White's Azle Chapel. Service: 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 18, 2016 at Evans Mortuary, Rockwood TN. Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, TN. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, April 17. 2016 at Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, TN. Tom was born August 30, 1941 in Spring City, TN. to Thomas Adam and Evelyn Foland Lemons. He loved his family dearly. Enjoyed Vols football, fishing and was an avid golfer when he was a young man. Tom was a well respected man and was loved by all that knew him. He retired from the United States Air Force at the rank of Master Sgt. after honorably serving for 22 years. Tom retired from Lockheed after 20 years of service. He was a member of Old Ballard Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Bear Hollow, TN. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vicki Jean Harvey; and wife of 50 years, Norma Lemons. Survivors: Daughter, Donna Cox and husband, Steve; sons, Steve Lemons and Paul Lemons; grandsons, Brett Cox and wife, Molly, Brian Cox and wife, Cassie, Shawn Cox and Cody Lemons; four great-grandchildren; six sisters; one brother.
