Gwendolyn Knox

ROCKWALL -- Gwendolyn Knox, 88, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, April 14, 2016. Graveside service: 12 p.m. Monday, April 25, at Oakland Cemetery in Weatherford. Gwen was born January 31, 1928 in Breckenridge to T.B. and Winnie Knox. She spent her childhood in New Mexico and Weatherford, graduating high school from N. TX. Teaching College in 1945. A graduate of TCU in 1949 pursuing Elementary Ed. She later had a successful career as a top real estate agent for Ebby Halliday. Preceded in death by her parents; and her son, George T. Schmaling. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors: daughters, Ede Bullock and husband, Randy, and Lisa Simmons and husband, Dee; grandchildren, Taylor Bullock, Carter Simmons, Haley Collins, Alison Bullock, and Kyndal Bullock; brother, Jack Knox; and sister, T.K.
