David "Dave" Henry Behnen

WEATHERFORD -- David Henry Behnen, 73, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Service: 2 p.m. Monday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086. Visitation: 12 noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. Dave was born on November 14, 1942, in East St. Louis, Ill. He attended St. Louis University, where he was a member of the 1963 National Champion soccer team. After graduation he started a successful company manufacturing business forms that thrived until his retirement. In his spare time Dave could be found competing as a Non-Pro at National Cutting Horse Assoc. events. Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Behnen. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Behnen; his children, Dave (Nicole) Behnen, Pam (Mark) Gunther, Jenni (Dave) Boynton, Lindsay Behnen, Lindsay (Nick Moehle) Faudree, and Dylan Faudree; his grandchildren, Casey, Jack, Jacob, Grace, Jordan, Ian, Luke, and Maxwell; his sister, Mary (Mike) Sargent; and many nieces and nephews.
