Arthur Donald "Don" Ford, Sr., 76, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016.
Funeral service: 1 p.m. Thursday at New River Fellowship Church, 1202 SE 6th Ave, Mineral Wells, 76067. Interment: Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, 76067.

Don was born March 31, 1940 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Arthur Leon and Beatrice Reasoner Ford. He later met the love of his life, Martha "Marti" Human. Don and Marti were married February 19, 1960 in Victorville, California and shortly after moved to Mineral Wells. Don retired from S-Tec Corporation in Mineral Wells after many years of service.
Don's main passions in life were his family and God. He loved his family with all of his heart and was a devoted Christian. Don was a one of a kind man who touched many lives. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Don was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Marti Ford; his parents; siblings, Clyde Ford, Myra O'Bannon, and Linda Bruton; and grandson, Bobby Don Wilson.
Survivors: children, Freeda Wilcher and husband, Jim, and Artie Ford and wife, Dana; grandchildren, Cody (Christy) Lee, Wesley (Amanda) Ford, Dakota Wilcher, and Taylor Ford; great-grandchildren, Adam, Hayden, Ashlynn, and Garrett; brother, Raymond Ford; sister, Sandra Davis; cousin and best friend, Doug Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
