WEATHERFORD -- Doris Lorraine Mailloux Causbie was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, on November 29, 1924 and left peacefully on Sunday morning June 12, 2016. She was the fourth child of Joseph and Blanche (LaCombe) Mailloux.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephen Catholic Chapel, 211 S. Main, Weatherford.
Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy., Weatherford.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, with Rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Doris was a wonderful singer and dancer and met her future husband, J. Robert Causbie, when she sang in the USO and he was stationed with the Army Air Corp in Bridgeport, Conn. They married at St. Stephen Catholic Church (now chapel) on July 4th, 1949 and enjoyed almost 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2012.
Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brothers, George and Edgar, and her sister, Edna.
She is survived by her five daughters, Linda (Joseph) Wright, Marian (Ricky) Maitlen and Theresa Causbie of Weatherford, Roberta (Jerry) Kelly of Brock and Diane (Don) Brawley of Lake Jackson; grandchildren include Kevin (Cherie) Wright of Euless, Dr. Heather Wright and Joseph Wright of Weatherford, Sara (Drew) Batchelder of Playa del Rey, Calif., Amanda (Reed) Bond of Little Elm, Hilary (Matt) Ross of Euless, Jessica Kelly of Brock and Erin (Michael) Kaifetz of Weatherford; and three great-grandchildren, Alexandra Wright, Michelle Bond and Connor Kaifetz.
