Mary "Kay" Kathrin Price

GRANBURY -- Mary Kathrin "Kay" Price, 77, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, after many physical and medical problems. She is now at rest and peace. Service: 10 a.m. Friday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home. Kay was born Aug. 31, 1938, to Dr. Maurice and Gazelle Anderson of Nacogdoches. She was a very beautiful, loving and caring person who never met a stranger. Kay was fun to be around and lit up the room when she walked in. She also had the most beautiful blue eyes. Kay graduated from Pasadena High School in Pasadena. She went on to North Texas State University where she met and married her first husband, William Hobson. They had two children, Andy Hobson and Wendy Barkley. Kay married again in 1990, on July 4, to Ron Price. Ron and Kay were married for 26 years to the day. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and first husband. Survivors: Husband, Ron Price; son, Andy Hobson; daughter-in-law, Tonya Ann Hobson; daughter, Wendy Barkley; two grandchildren, Brandon Johnson and Elizabeth Utley and husband, Austin; one brother, Bill Anderson and wife, Issie; numerous nieces and nephews; and all of her friends at De Cordova Bend.
