Alma Tapp, 79, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away Monday, July 18,2016 at her home with her family by her side.
Memorial Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday at LaJunta Baptist Church, 5207 E. Highway 199, Springtown, 76082 under the direction of White's Azle funeral Home.
Alma was born January 29, 1937 in Buchanan to Dewey and Doreen Logan. Alma taught Sunday school at her church for over 25 years. Her husband, Ray described his wife as "Perfect". They had traveled to Australia, Hawaii, Panama Canal, Alaska and many other destinations over the years traveling to some more than once.
She was a faithful member of the LaJunta Baptist Church. Alma loved and cherished her family and will be missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Shirley Tapp.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Ray Tapp; sons, Benjie McKinley and wife, Susan, and Lynn McKinley; step-daughters, Amy Marie Tapp-Walker and husband, J.D., and Debbie Williamson and husband, Calvin; sister, Estella Jean Reyes and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Hunter McKinley, Colton McKinley, Laisha Taylor and husband, Daryl Holi Coleman, Adam Adams and wife, Sue Ann; and seven great-grandchildren.
