Weatherford -- Early morning on Friday, July 22, 2016, surrounded by love and family, our “Mimi” peacefully passed on to be with our Lord. Service: 2 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 at All Saints Anglican Church, 123 S. Waco, Weatherford, Texas, Reception following. Memorials: Donations are requested in lieu of flowers to: All Saints Anglican Church of Weatherford, and Manna Storehouse of Weatherford. Pat was born August 29, 1931 to Herbert S. and Ava M. Collings in Midland, Texas. She attended TCU and married Ben E. Taylor, naval officer, geologist and rancher. They lived in San Diego, CA, Stroud, OK, and settled in Weatherford to raise Cheryl “Binky” Majumder and Ben R. Taylor. Pat was a beloved 55+ year Parker County resident and member of All Saints Anglican Church. She was active in her community co-chairing Weatherford CleanScape, Garden Club, Performing Arts Association, Bridge Club, long-time Girl Scout Leader, avid horsewoman and a founder of the Girl Scout Mounted Patrol. As administrative assistant to State Representative Bill Coody, she touched many lives, and later worked as a TABC licensing agent where she was recognized by the Texas Legislature. She is survived by: daughter, Cheryl “Binky” Majumder and husband, Bobby, grandson, Taylor, of Highland Park, TX and granddaughter, Robin Cashion, great grandchildren, Daniel and Ava Gonzalez, of Frisco, TX., son, Ben R. Taylor, granddaughter, Leslie Hardin and husband, Trey, and great grandson, Ward, all of Ft. Worth, TX and grandson, Benjamin C. Taylor and wife, Rachel, of Dallas, TX.
