Nancy Ann Huffman

WEATHERFORD -- Nancy Ann (Bergum) Huffman went home to the comfort of our Heavenly Father Monday, August 1, 2016, after her battle with gastric cancer, and a few months of time well spent with her family. Nancy was born on January 21, 1956, and was quickly adopted into the loving home of Lucille and Albert Bergum, missionaries who built schools and homes in Ethiopia. Nancy married the cowboy of her dreams, Rob Huffman on August 25, 1979, and lived a life of bliss until Rob was taken too soon on September 27th, 2001. As an active member of Grace Fellowship Church in California, Nancy had admirably strong faith and a deep passion for Christ, that she passed on to her daughters. She was a horse enthusiast, with a house filled with trophies and buckles to prove it. One of her proudest moments was placing Top Ten at the AQHA Select World in Reining. Nancy was blessed in her final months on Earth to have lived near her family in Weatherford, Texas, where there was no shortage of love, horses, and laughter. Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Kindel Walter (son-in-law, Jason Walter, grandson, Braxton Walter, and granddaughter-on-the-way) and Kelsey Huffman, and by her brothers, Randy Bergum and Christian Bergum. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rob, and her parents, Lucille and Albert Bergum. A service will be held at Grace Fellowship Church (652 6th Street Norco, CA 92860) on Friday, August 12, 2016, at 11 a.m. to send this cowgirl into heaven. There will be a brief reception to follow. Nancy's burial will be at 2 p.m. at Loma Vista Mortuary in Fullerton, CA.
