Georgia Mae Lamb

Georgia Lamb, 77, loving mother, grandmother and friend passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016. Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Azle Christian Church, 117 Church St. Azle. Georgia was born in Wichita Falls February 22, 1939 to the late Fred and Clara Stanberry Lamb. She worked at Lockheed as a Document Control Agent for several years, owned and operated the Azle News turning it from a monthly paper to a weekly paper. Georgia loved being outdoors, riding horses and gardening. She was very active in her church, The Azle Christian Church, especially the prayer group. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Marvin and Tommy Ward. Survivors: Daughter, Becky Blann and husband, Otis; grandsons, Otis Blann III and Payton Blann; and her loving church family.
