Rodney Rod Roderick

Rodney "Rod" Roderick, 71, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Memorial Service: 3:00 P.M. Thursday at White's Azle Chapel. Visitation: 2 to 3 P.M. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Rod was born in San Angelo to Eugene and Dorothy Manning Roderick July 15, 1945. He dearly loved his family and was very proud of his sons. Rod enjoyed going camping, helping others anyway possible, was an animal lover and enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed gardening and restoring classic automobiles. Rod honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Don Roderick. Survivors: Wife of 28 years, Johnnie Roderick; sons, Rodney Roderick II and wife, Nancy, Brian Roderick and wife, Candice, and Timothy Roderick; brother, Larry Roderick; sister, Dorothy Strickland; grandchildren, Farrahmacie, Brooke, Baylee, Meagan, Victoria and Waverly.
