Nancy Ames Perkins, 75, passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016.
Service: 11:30 a.m. Friday in DFW National Cemetery.
Nancy was born July 2, 1941, in Skowhegan, Maine, to Ruth Ames and Hayden Rogers.
Nancy was a very loving lady, who went to school at Waterford College in Maine. She worked as a secretary for a construction company, insurance company, and in the clothing industry. She enjoyed traveling and living in Massachusetts, Texas, Japan, Korea, Egypt, Turkey, as well as several other countries. Nancy was also an artist who painted and enjoyed doing latch hooking. Nancy was also a Methodist.
Nancy married the love of her life after a 10 year courtship, Oliver Perkins, in 1982.
Survivors: Husband, Oliver Perkins; brother, Allen Rogers; sister, Mary Kittredge; nephews, Michael Kittredge and Peter Kittredge; and niece, Cathy Desalvo.
