Wanda Jean Hill

Wanda Jean Hill, 76, passed from this life Monday, September 19, 2016. Service: 11 am Friday at White's Mineral Wells Chapel, 101 N.E. 4th Avenue. Visitation: 10 am Friday prior to service. Interment: Woodland Park Cemetery. Memorial: In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association. Wanda Jean was a retired 2nd grade school teacher, who taught for over 30 years, most of which were spent at the Houston Elementary School in Mineral Wells. Wanda Jean was most known for her loving desire to help others in any way she could, friend and family alike. She was affectionately known by most family members as "Aunt Jean". She will be remembered by her family and friends for her friendly smile and pleasant greeting. Wanda Jean will be deeply missed by her loving family as well as her many friends, including those closest to her that she affectionately referred to as "The Friday Lunch Bunch". Preceded in death by her parents, J.L. and Etha Hill of Mineral Wells. Survivors: Stepmother, Martha Hill; cousins, Jack F. Hill and wife, Margaret, John R. Hill and family, Lt. Col. W. David Hill and family, Jeffrey J. Norman and wife, Connie, Melissa Norman, Michelle Lewis and husband, Michal, Alison Norman, James Alan Parson and wife, Jessica, Serina Gonzales, Celeste Gonzales, Katherine Lewis, Christopher Lewis, and Benjamin Lewis.
