Ty Taylor

Ty Taylor, 73, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 in Ft. Worth. Funeral Service: 10:00am Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at White's Funeral Home, Springtown. Interment: 2:00pm Tuesday at Willis Cemetery, Fobbs, OK. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00pm Monday at the funeral home. Ty was born October 5, 1943 in Independence, KS to the late Tyrus and Iva Taylor. He loved spending time with his family, traveling in his RV and enjoying their time fishing on Lake Texoma. Holiday time was especially dear to Ty, he treasured his time with the great-grandkids watching them hunt Easter Eggs and the joy that came when he passed out scratch off tickets at Christmas. He was also an avid dancer where he could be found weekly at the Springtown Senior Center. Ty found pleasure in working hard and he did so for 60 years. Ty was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Beloved wife of 54 years, Arvetta Taylor; children, Mike Taylor and wife, Julie, Mark Taylor and wife, Stefanie, and Melody Overton; grandchildren, Mark Taylor, II, Dustin Taylor and wife, Brittany, Sofia Taylor, Jessica Taylor, Molly Taylor, Kelly Jo Karr, Gage Snell and wife, Tandi, Hayden Overton, and Dylan Overton; great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Cash, and Kambrie Taylor, Isabelle and Addison Gonzales, Jayce and Aiden Karr, Luna and Oliver Snell.
