Arthur "Art" Jackson Byron

ALEDO -- Arthur Jackson Byron, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, at a Fort Worth hospital. Service: 2 p.m. Monday at Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church, 200 South Lakeshore Drive, Weatherford, 76087. Interment: Annetta Cemetery, Annetta. Visitation: 1 p.m. Monday at the church prior to the service. Art was born on March 18, 1931, in Mobile, Ala. He met and married his best friend, Kay, in 1985. Art was a longtime private pilot and truly loved to fly and travel. Art was faithful member of Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church. Survivors: Wife, Kay; children, Leah Byron, Tim Byron and Tom, Ana Byron and husband, Joel, William McCarthy and wife, Alexis, Janell Edwards and husband, Shawn; grandchildren, Justin Byron and Annabel McCarthy; and many other loving family members and friends.
