Albert Hughes

Albert Hughes, 84 passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Weatherford. Graveside Service: 11:00am Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 9:00am to 10:30am Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main, Springtown. Albert was born August 13, 1932 in Fairfield to the late James Hughes and Fannie Day Hughes. Albert was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing and hunting. He spent many hours repairing and tinkering with automobiles. Albert was a kind hearted individual that loved his family and friends. He retired from Bell Helicopter after thirty plus years. He was a devoted Springtown First Baptist Church member. Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Free Hughes; parents; infant sister, Jacquelyn Hughes; and sister, Ezralee Baker. Survivors: Sons, Jerry Hughes and wife, Stacy, Chris Hughes and wife, Lacie; daughter, Deborah Ray; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Alton Hughes, Veril Hughes, and Elton Hughes; and sister, Rosetta Hughes.
