FORT WORTH -- Evelyn Doris Klein, 89, passed away Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday in White's Chapel of Memories. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the M.J. Klein Scholarship fund through Southwestern Assembly of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. Evelyn was born June 20, 1927, in Fort Worth to Ed and Nellie Whitney Moore. She was married to Rev. M.J. Klein for 50 years before he passed in 1994. They had liked each other since the third grade. Evelyn was a songwriter who loved music and playing the piano. She was also an artist who created porcelain dolls and ceramic products. She loved her daughters with all her heart and enjoyed spending time with them. Evelyn lived her life for God and spent her time spreading the message of Jesus Christ. Her one desire was that all come to know Him as their personal Savior. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. M.J. Klein; daughter, Patricia June Klein; and grandson, Roger Dale Warren Jr. Survivors: Daughters, Star Ward, Jackie Manes and husband, Ron, and Doris Barker and husband, Bill; sister, Opal Flippin; grandchildren, Sandi Loudamy and husband, Jason, Dereck Manes and wife, Amy, Dustan Barker and wife, Holly, and Chris Barker and wife, Lacey; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Sheila and Jackie Willis, and their children, Joey Willis and wife, Erica, and Mandy Malott and her husband, Jeremy.
