Evelyn Jewell Sullivan

WEATHERFORD -- Evelyn Jewell Sullivan, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Monday afternoon, December 5, 2016, age 96 1/2 during her short stay at Holland Lake Nursing Center.       A private funeral service was held Thursday, December 8, 2016 at White's Chapel of Memories, with interment in East Greenwood Cemetery.       Donations may be made in her name at Cout's Memorial United Methodist Church to the fund of your choice.       Evelyn was born in the Dicey Community, Parker County, Texas to Ira Allen Miller and Arva Ruth Wood and lived in Weatherford her entire life. Evelyn worked in the superintendent's office for the Weatherford Independent School District for 26 years.       She was a long standing member of Cout's Memorial United Methodist Church and of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class.       The family wishes to sincerely thank all Ms. Sullivan's caregivers at both Autumn Hill Manor and Holland Lake Nursing Center.       She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Sullivan and is survived by one son, Allen Sullivan and his loving wife, of Granbury, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
