WEATHERFORD -- Retired U.S. Navy CWO4 Phillip Randall Dalton Jr., 54, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086. Phillip dedicated his life to the U.S. Navy and the sailors who loved him. He retired honorably after 31 years of Naval Service and is the recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Accommodation Medal (8 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2 awards) along with several Unit and Campaign Awards. Phil also selflessly gave of himself dedicating 12 years of service as a volunteer paramedic to the Princess Anne Courthouse Volunteer Rescue Squad in Virginia Beach, VA where he is a life member of the Rescue Squad. In his spare time, Phillip was an avid motorcycle rider, banjo player, mechanic, and scuba diver. But most of all, he was an inspiration to many.
