Loretta Montgomery, 81, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017.
Graveside Service: 11:00 A.M. Friday at Azleland Memorial Park.
Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home.

Loretta was born August 4, 1935 in Gilliland, Texas to T.J. and Vernice Dodd Mayberry. She married the love of her life, R. D.(Don) Montgomery, March 18, 1950. Loretta was at his side and his rock through almost 66 years of marriage. From his one man construction company into multiple successful businesses and ventures. She was there until the end. Loretta truly enjoyed trophy deer hunting, especially with the grandkids and was a very dedicated and experienced hunter in her own right.
Loretta was a member of Beta Sigma Phi in Wichita Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Mayberry; a sister, Joyce Marie Mayberry; and husband, R.D Montgomery on January 1, 2017.
Survivors: Son, Don Montgomery and wife, Merry Kay; daughter, Debrah Montgomery; brothers, Tommy Mayberry, Bruce Mayberry and Roy Mayberry; sister, Wanda Thompson; half-brother, T. J. Mayberry, Jr.; grandson, Jason Arnold and wife, Amy; granddaughters, April Howell and husband, Barrett, Heather Holman and husband, Dean, Aron Kay Clyburn and husband, Brandon; grandson, Ty Montgomery and fiancée, Alyssa, Mitchell Montgomery; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
