Betty Jean Harris

WEATHERFORD - Betty Jean Harris, 78, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at home.Inurnment:  At a later date at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.Betty was born December 1, 1938 in Buhl, Alabama, daughter of Harvey Jacobs and Nannie Coleman Jacobs.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Betty worked at Lockheed Martin for 25 years as an aircraft assembler.  She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, being outdoors, taking care of her lawn and going fishing.Betty was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Charles Harris on June 29, 2004; brothers, George and Ray Jacobs; and sisters, Sue Jacobs, and Frances Channel.Survivors:  Daughter, Cathy Mills; sons, Charles Harris and wife, Beth, Donald Harris and wife, Carol, and William Harris; brothers, Richard and Charlie Jacobs; sister, Mary Lee Channel; eleven grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and loving family.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, Texas
