Norma Jean Gill

BROCK - Norma Jean Gill, 80, went to see her Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m., Saturday at First Baptist Church of Dennis, 7600 FM Road 1189.  Burial: Brock Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Norma was born September 12, 1936 in Brock, to Cecil Adolphus and Amanda Idelia Jones Bell. She retired from ASCS Government offices after 20 years. Prior to that, Norma also worked as a secretary at General Dynamics. She enjoyed painting and cooking. Norma was very active in sports and enjoyed attending her children's sporting events. Norma is preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Cecil Don Gill; infant daughter, Debbie Renea Gill; and all 7 of her siblings. Survivors: Husband of 62 years, Don Gill; daughters, Donna Felton, Terri Hurlbert and husband, Steve, and Brenda Gill Strickland; grandchildren, Brooklyn McIntosh and husband, Dan, Briley Worthington, Brittney Farmer and husband, Josh, Mason Strickland, Stetson Hurlbert; great-grandchildren, Kallen O'Neal and Lyla Pearl McIntosh. Services are in care of White's Funeral Home, Weatherford.
